Linda Imperial - Linda launched her recording career in the 70's. She co-founded the group Loverde and toured world-wide with a major hit "Die Hard Lover." As a solo artist, her songs have been charting all over the world. With a best dance single of the year nomination, she soared to the top five on the international charts and remained there for 10 years. With Billboard hit after hit her latest release reached #4 in sales break-out. Linda is a featured singer with Quicksilver Messenger Service, and a recording vocalist with The Jefferson Starship. She also appears on the new Jefferson Starship CD release"Jefferson Tree of Liberty"The petite but mighty Ms. Imperial towers over her contemporaries with a powerful voice and passionate delivery, thrilling audiences whenever she performs.
Steve Valverde - (Bass Guitar and Vocals) Originally from Los Angeles,
Steve began his musical career playing clubs in the L. A. area. After relocating to
the bay area to attend U. C. Berkeley. Hhe worked his way through college playing
bay area clubs such as the Long Branch, Keystone Berkeley, the Boarding House and The Freight and Salvage. Immediately after graduating from Berkeley, Steve hit the road working clubs and concerts throughout the U.S., Korea, and Japan. He eventually returned to the bay area to perform and record with Chris Rowan of The Rowan Brothers, sharing the stage with the Jerry Garcia Band at The Stone and David Crosby at the Great American Music Hall . He later went to perform with Zulu Spear, Paul Pena, and members of The Doobie Brothers, The Blues Project, Elvin Bishop, Huey Lewis & The News, Eddie Money, and It's A Beautiful Day.
Peter Harris - (Guitarist and Composer) Has brought down the house
from coast to coast as a soloist on tour with the post-Jerry Garcia version of
Jerry’s solo band JGB. One major label CD release from the late lamented House
of Blues Records is all that remains of that powerful unit. Harris also performs
with Quicksilver Gold, another San Francisco Band offshoot that features Dino
Valenti’s son Joli, Mario Cipollina of Huey Lewis and the News
, and drummer Greg Anton of Zero. Another current band is Django Obscura, and Acoustic Electric Gypsy Jam Band, as well as House of Bloomfield, a Mike Bloomfield tribute band . Harris has been written up in Guitar Player Magazine and is an experienced
instructor and musicologist.
Doug Freedman - (Drums - percussion) began playing at the ripe old age of three. He was on the road at thirteen with the recording act 'The Young
Californians'.
By sixteen he had appeared with Dizzy Gillespie and Don Ellis. Doug was a member of bay area's extremely popular band 'Vital Signs' who recorded the 'Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure' movie soundtrack and video with George Carlin. They toured with  Tina Turner, Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, Steppenwolf, Rick Derringer and Night Ranger. They also did the movie soundtrack 'Fantom' which resulted in a move to L. A. where he joined Iron Butterfly for two years. Followed by stints with The Coasters, Kim Weston, Jimmie McCracklin, and others, including subbing for one of his idols, Prairie Prince of The Tubes. He continues to freelance and is currently working with old friend Johnny Gunn on new material.

David Kaffinetti - (Keyboards) grew up in London. As a young artist he recorded 5 albums with a well known band called"Rare Bird". The band enjoyed a hit single. The song was called "Sympathy". It was an international hit. David played keyboards on Chuck Berry's 'The London Sessions (which was sent into outer space on the Voyger Space Probe in 1973). David then hit the big time. He landed the role of Viv Savage. The nutty keyboard player in Spinal Tap. His keyboard work has been top notch. Many bands, many shows. David has a very great sound and puts on a fun show. He’s now with The Linda Imperial Band. And folks are we lucky!
